Gymnastics classes offered at Kedron Fieldhouse The Peachtree City Recreation Department is offering Gymnastics classes at the Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center. Parent-Child Fitness is for children nine months to two years of age. This program is designed to develop, with parental participation and support, the muscular, social, perceptual and emotional fitness of toddlers. Objectives include promoting comfort and positive relationships within the group, encouraging risk taking and building self-esteem. Fun Developmental Gymnastics is for children two years to six years old. This is a non-competitive and curriculum-based program in developmental gymnastics. The weekly lesson plans include an opening group circle, warm-ups, gymnastics obstacle course and group games. Music, movement and motivation are used to build self-confidence and self-esteem. These classes meet Wednesday mornings and are $40 a month for children two and under and $45 a month for children over two years. Robbie Chambless of the Little Gym in Peachtree City is teaching the classes.
