Job fair at College Park Auditorium

Fulton County District 7 Commissioner William "Bill" Edwards is hosting the second annual Youth Job Fair April 19, with the Fulton County Human Services Department's Office of Workforce Development (OWD) and Office of Children and Youth.

The fair is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the College Park City Auditorium, 3631 Main Street, College Park, near College Park City Hall.

County youth, ages 14-21, can apply for summer jobs with representatives from Chick-fil-A, United Parcel Service (UPS), McDonald's, East Point Business Association and other businesses and agencies that hire youth for temporary or part-time jobs.

There will be food, games and activities for the entire family. Job-seekers are encouraged to wear business attire and bring a resumé.

The 2002 fair held at the South Fulton Service Center attracted 500 attendees.
