Local school chorus perfomrs at Capitol

The Camp Creek Chorus performed at the Georgia State Capitol March 12 in a noon performance. The students sang three selections; "Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel, "Let My People Go" and "Lift Every Voice and Sing."

Keith Jones, the chorus director at Camp Creek Middle School, arranged the last selection. After the program, the chorus was presented with a proclamation from The Honorable Roger Bruce, Georgia House of Representatives, District 45.

In December the chorus also performed for the United States Army Reserve Command, one of the Camp Creek business partners, at Ft. McPherson for their holiday program.
