Wednesday, April 9, 2003 Spring Ball recognizes top Realtors The Fayette County Board of Realtors recently held its annual Spring Ball at the Atlanta Airport Hilton Hotel with over 400 in attendance. This membership event recognizes those members who achieve status in the Million Dollar Club as well as the highly anticipated awards for Rookie of the Year, Affiliate of the Year and the President's Award. Two hundred and twelve agents were recognized for their annual achievement as 2002 members of the Million Dollar Club, which honors those agents with sales volume exceeding one million dollars per year. The President's Award went to Martha Hayhurst, broker for Harry Norman Realtors and past president of the Board. President Joanie Keller conducted the evening's program and presented the award to Hayhurst, noting her efforts in befriending and mentoring Keller. The Affiliate of the Year went to David Monsour, senior loan officer with HomeBanc Corp., and the Rookie of the Year award went to Kevin Muse, agent with Harry Norman Realtors. Of special interest was the Silver Phoenix Award (the highest level in the MDC which recognizes 25 years of MDC membership), which was presented to Patti Ellis, broker of Patti Ellis Realty in Fayetteville, for first-time achievement. Also honored was Jan Trammell of Jan Trammell Real Estate for 32 years achievement. The Fayette County Board of Realtors is a nonprofit trade association established in 1969 with 600 members who adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and agree in writing to arbitrate any business disputes for the best interest of all.
