Paper ignores some schools

Are you aware that Flat Rock Middle School and Sandy Creek High School are in Fayette County?

You recently published an article about the science projects that went to state level and, once again, completely ignored Flat Rock. In addition, I've noticed that Sandy Creek High is also frequently "forgotten." These are the schools and children in my neighborhood and they deserve fair recognition.

If I continue to see a bias in your reporting, I will be writing back to ask that you please not clutter my lawn with your newspaper.

[The editor replies: We depend on individual schools, interested students, parents and teachers to send us information and photos about things like school and class science fairs, as do all other newspapers in this county. Some schools are much more active in getting news out about their students than others are. We try to print what we receive, whichever the school. We welcome and enthusiastically encourage submissions from all Fayette schools.]
