Religion Briefs Peachtree City Christian announces Easter events The adult choir at Peachtree City Christian Church will present "God for Us" Friday, April 18, at 7 p.m. A nursery will be provided. The Easter egg hunt will be Saturday, April 19, at 1 p.m. Easter Services will be April 20 at 9 and 11 a.m. Childcare will be provided both hours.
Lenten luncheons continue at FFUMC The United Methodist Women of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church host a Lenten Lunch each Thursday from noon-1 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. The cost is $2 per person. The program begins with a light lunch and a devotional given by a layperson or minister from the church. National Heights offers Bible study on women in Jesus' life National Heights Baptist Church will host a Bible study each Thursday during Lent on the women Jesus encountered and affected. The group will meet at 4:30 p.m. Based on the book, "Do What You Have the Power to Do," the study will look at six women in Jesus' life and ministry. Body of Christ International announces April events The Body of Christ Church International, U.S.A., announces its Easter musical, "Resurrection Celebration," Friday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. Also, a free "Financial Victory Seminar," led by Dr. Creflo Dollar, will be held at the church Sunday, April 20, through Tuesday, April 22, at 7 p.m..
