Take off Epps's clerical collar when putting down the French

I would like to suggest that David Epps submit a photo of himself without the clerical collar and drop the "Father," if he continues to write columns like, "Forget Iraq: We should just invade France."

Like it or not, when a priest speaks, he represents more than just himself. Father Epps's caustic comments on the French reflect poorly on Episcopalians (charismatic and otherwise) and Christians, in general. (At least he had this Episcopalian cringing.)

It's the same way you feel when a rude driver cuts you off on the highway, and the ichthus (fish) symbol on their bumper proclaims their faith in Christ.
