Newman joins Nature's Nursery

Nature's Nursery and Landscape Services welcomes landscape designer John Newman to its staff.

Located in Fayette County for more than 20 years, the company began offering professional landscape installation services in 2000. Nature's can now offer what is referred to in the industry as "design/build" to its menu of service offerings with the quality that area customers have come to expect.

Co-owners Phil Jackson and Steve Kenney started in the green industry 25 years ago doing landscape installation, and then opened the Fayetteville retail garden center that serves as company headquarters today. After running the main location, and later a Peachtree City location for more than two decades, the company has been well-received as it has ventured back into landscaping. Jackson is especially excited about Newman joining the team at Natures to help take care of clients that need this service.

"John has a solid design background with a degree in landscape architecture from the University of Georgia and several years of field experience with an Atlanta-based apartment developer, Post Properties," Jackson said.

"Having worked on the southeast side of Atlanta for the past 10 years, Newman is excited to join a company with a proven track record.

"I talked with several other companies but was impressed with Phil and Steve and the potential of the company that they are growing," Newman said. "Everybody would like to be part of a winning team."

Natures offers landscape design and installation, hardscape construction, retaining walls, seasonal color, water features and irrigation. For more information, call 770-461-4156.
