Fjeran honored at Christ the King

David Fjeran of Newnan was recently recognized by the congregation of Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg as its first ever "Man of the Year." The announcement was made during the dedication service for the church's new sanctuary.

Fjeran, who serves on the church's Parish Council and on the worship ministry, was recognized for outstanding contributions to the church during the year 2002. His commitment and faithfulness were also recognized by the day's guest speaker, Archbishop Randolph Adler and Christ the King's rector, Fr. David Epps.

Fjeran is employed as a residential building inspector for Coweta County. He received a plaque and a standing ovation from the congregation.
