Nativity Episcopal opens sanctuary for prayer during 'these difficult times'

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville is now open on a regular basis for prayer and meditation. The sanctuary of the church is open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m. and Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., in addition to regularly scheduled activities and services on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.

"My hope is that we can offer a sacred and safe place to bring our anxiety and concerns during these difficult days," says the Rev. Robert Hudak, parish rector. "This is a space where people of all faiths and opinions can join in prayer for peace and healing in God's beloved world.

"There are many who need our prayers," Hudak continues, "including those who are caught up in this conflict, our military personnel and their families, Arab Americans of all faiths, the people of Iraq, and our President and the leaders of the nations."

Nativity is at 130 Antioch Road in Fayetteville. For more information, call the church office at 770- 460-6390 or visit the web site at http://www.fayettenativity.com/.
