Landmark wins 6-0 over Troup in soccer

Landmark Christian School scored a 6-0 win over Troup County last week in boys' soccer.

Senior Blake Fertitta and junior Benji Welden scored two goals apiece, with the other scores coming from junior Eric Worrell and freshman Will Bulger. Senior Scott Emery had two assists, while senior Ethan Everett and junior Tim Nersesian each added an assist.

One of the more spectacular plays came when junior Joseph Keywood's 40-yard throw-in was received by Everett, who passed to Bulger for a score.

Junior goalkeeper Nick Taussig had five stops, and Keywood also had one. Mark Wozniak was cited for good defensive work.
