Chamber seeks volunteers for golf tourney Fayette County Chamber of Commerce officials are still hard at work looking for sponsors and donations for the golf tournament scheduled for Wednesday, April 2. "We are looking for $50-and-up gifts for giveaways," said a chamber spokesperson. "We are also looking for items for the goody bags; we need at least 200 of any one item delivered to the chamber." All items and gifts for giveaways and goody bags must be delivered to the chamber by Friday, March 21. The chamber also needs volunteers to help out during the tournament from noon to 6 p.m. Anyone who can come and help for an hour or six, or anywhere in between, would be appreciated.
