New Hope Church to host seminar via satellite for south side business leaders

Last year's Maximum Impact Simulcast, originated and hosted at New Hope Baptist Church's South Campus, was one of the largest church-hosted gatherings of business leaders ever.

After such great success, author and authority on leadership, Dr. John C. Maxwell will be joined by Ken Blanchard live at New Hope Baptist Church's South Campus and Joe Gibbs via satellite as they reach an estimated 40,000 leaders in a live business seminar the "Maximum Impact Simulcast Leadership-Becoming a Champion of Change."

Once again, the simulcast will be broadcast from New Hope Baptist Church's South Campus via satellite and downlinked simultaneously to more than 700 churches across North America on March 28.

"The business sector has been using the power of live satellite training for years," said Kevin Small, president of Atlanta-based INJOY. "We feel privileged to be the first to tap into its effectiveness in the Christian community to train more than 40,000 business leaders through the local church each year."

Seminar host Maxwell is the author of best-selling books and is the founder of INJOY, an organization dedicated to providing resources and training for personal and professional growth.

The Maximum Impact Simulcast is open to all churches in America and will focus on the principles of "Leadership, Becoming a Champion of Change." Ken Blanchard, author of best selling book, "The One Minute Manager," will bring further leadership insight as will Joe Gibbs, 2002 Winston Cup Champion, and former NFL coach of the three-time World Champion Washington Redskins. The Maximum Impact Simulcast is designed to equip churches to become a resource for business leaders and to build a bridge to the business community.

Maxwell lists "vision" as a key quality of a leader and naturally integrates technology into his own vision of how churches can best assist the business community. After two successful Maximum Impact simulcasts, Dr. Maxwell says he sees potential for satellite technology to be used by churches.
