Tennis Center hosts high school tourney this weekend, adult doubles next weekend By MICHAEL
BOYLAN The high school tennis season kicks off this weekend with a tournament featuring some local teams. East Coweta, Fayette County, McIntosh, Northgate, Spalding High School and Starr's Mill will face off at the Peachtree City Tennis Center beginning at 3:30 p.m. Friday. Opening matches will be between Fayette County and Spalding, and East Coweta and Northgate at 3:30 p.m. Immediately following those matches will be Starr's Mill against Northagte and McIntosh against Fayette County. The tournament will star up again Saturday at 8 a.m. The Tennis Center will have a Spring Doubles Classic adult tournament the following weekend with matches starting at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 7. The event is open to Men's and Women's doubles in levels open A, B, and C. The entry deadline is Tuesday, March 4. All participants are guaranteed two matches and will recive a long sleeved tournament t-shirt. Lunch will be served Saturday. Phone 770-486-9474 for more information.
