Whitewater High School names AD/football coach By MICHAEL
BOYLAN The Fayette County Board of Education approved the personnel list at Monday's meeting, which included the hiring of Creekside athletic Director and head football coach Charles McCreary to assume the same positions at the new Whitewater High School, which will open this fall. McCreary, a Fayetteville resident, has coached at Creekside for nine years and his teams entered the state playoffs for six straight years from 1996-2001. In 2000, Creekside had an undefeated regular season and McCreary was named Region 4-AAAA Coach of the Year that year. The team was 7-3 this year and just missed the state playoffs.
