Religion Briefs Lenten lunch series begins March 5 The United Methodist Women of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will host a Lenten Lunch Series beginning Wednesday, March 5 and continuing every Thursday thereafter throughout the Lenten season, from noon-1 p.m. The cost is $2 per person. National Heights plans Ash Wednesday service The Ash Wednesday service at National Heights Baptist Church in Fayetteville will be on March 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. The service will include the imposition of ashes and communion, along with special music and study. National Heights is on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Old Norton Road, just west of Fayetteville.
