When is council going to assert its control over PTC?

The last issue of the Peachtree City newsletter promulgated a new motto our city, "The Quality of Life Capital of the South."

For the mayor to make this decision without input from the city council, the business community and the youth that he loves to claim as his friends leaves concerned citizens to wonder.

Now we are told the council members will discuss the motto at the upcoming retreat.

Note to the council: How long will the current mayor be allowed to violate the charter of the city before you take action?

If I am not mistaken, you took an oath when you were elected. Is it my responsibility to find those words and list them here?
