Bush not making errors like those before WWII

I read with amused interest Timothy J. Parker's concept of what's going on in the world today. How soon we forget 9/11, or more to the point, has Timothy J. Parker ever taken the time to read what led to World War II?

If steps had been taken by the League of Nations, or by the French, who were better armed, had a bigger army, and could have disarmed Germany by themselves, up until 1938, millions of lives could have been saved.

Weak leadership and the appeasers were at fault. I feel fortunate that we have a great leader in George W. Bush at this time in our history, a man whose head is not in the sand.

As for world opinion, nothing will change. Whatever the U.S. does will be wrong for many countries. When you are the world's leader there will always be jealousies by the has-beens and those less fortunate.

I hear you loud and clear on what George W. is doing wrong, but nothing on what you would do to solve the problem. The last administration did absolutely nothing. Here you have a man with the will and the backbone to do something about it, and you complain.

If left to take its course, history will repeat itself. I feel with what's been going on in the world today, Americans need to stick together and show some loyalty to our country and President.
