Bishop Holloway to preach at Christ the King Sunday

The Most Rev. John W. Holloway, D.D., Bishop of Georgia, will be the special guest and speaker Sunday, Feb. 23, at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church at its newly opened facility in Coweta County.

Holloway will preach and celebrate Holy communion at the 8 a.m. service, and will preach and administer the Sacrament of Confirmation and/or Reception to nine adults at the 10 a.m. service. The is Holloway's first visit to the church since it opened its new facilities in November.

A native Georgian, educated at Valdosta State University and Candler School of Theology at Emory University, Holloway also serves as Auxiliary Bishop of Middle and Eastern Tennessee and is the founding rector of the Cathedral of St. Michael and All Angels Church in Thomaston
