Chic'N D'Lite comes to Peachtree City

Peachtree City welcomes a new restaurant to the Braelinn Shopping Center this month. Grand opening was held Valentine's weekend at Chic'N D'Lite, 520 Crosstown Road.

The concept for this restaurant was formed in 1998 with the opening of the first Chic'N D'Lite in Jonesboro. Owners Junior Moss and Wayne Morrison and staff strive to bring customers the best quality food at affordable prices along with speedy and friendly service. Since opening in Jonesboro, they have added a McDonough location and now are in Fayette County.

Chic'N D'Lite uses fresh, never frozen, chicken products. Their fried chic'n and tenders are hand breaded in the kitchen on site and wings are tossed in their own mouth-watering speciality sauces. Chic'N D'Lite specialties include southern Fried chicken, creamy chicken salad, veggie plates, Caribbean jerk chicken, barbecued pork riblets, chopped sirloin, fried shrimp, and grouper filets.

Their sandwich menu includes reubens, grouper filet, chicken philly, chicken filet and buffalo style, monterey chicken, smothered burger, chicken salad and half pound burgers.

A variety of appetizers and salads are served at Chic'N D'Lite, including the D'liteful Combo, a family-sized starter featuring six wings, four mozzarella sticks, 8-10 mushrooms and four tenders with lots of dipping sauces. Country style vegetables and sides include mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, collards, green beans, fried okra, steamed cabbage, baked beans, black beans and rise, French fries and hush puppies. Desserts include banana pudding, peach cobbler and apple crunch.

The restaurant has a casual family dining atmosphere and a full selection of beverages. Kids meals, featuring chicken tenders, grilled cheese sandwiches, corn dogs and chicken drumsticks are also servied with veggies or another side item.

Daily specials are also featured, with buffalo wings headlining Mondays, chicken tenders Tuesdays and peel and eat shrimp on Thursdays. Senior citizens receive a 10% discount on Sundays.

A blues band will be providing live entertainment on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 p.m. to closing beginning this week.

Entree prices range from 5.95 to 10.95 for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is open Mon - Thurs, 11-10, Fri - Sat, 11-11, and Sundays 11-8. MC, Visa, and Amex are accepted.

The restaurant also caters all types of events for crowds up to 1200. Parties of 10-50 are encouraged to phone ahead for reservations. For more information, call 678-364-9368.
