What are you doing for Valentine's Day? Dinner and a movie? Dancing 'til dawn? Cuddling up in front of the fire or going away for the weekend? If you're not sure, use this article to give you a few ideas.

Dinner and a movie go together like peanut butter and jelly, and there are plenty of places to go for a nice romantic dinner before taking in one of the many excellent date movies out there. Some local restaurant suggestions are Valentino's, Paschal's, Famous Fish Company and Chin Chin in Peachtree City and City Cafe and Village Cafe in Fayetteville. If you want to head to a great little spot in Atlanta, Rue de Paris on N. Highland is exquisite.

As for good date movies, "Chicago," "How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days," "Deliver Us From Eva," "Just Married" and "Maid in Manhattan" have done very well with audiences. If you're not looking to go out, one can always rent some romantic classics such as "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "An Affair to Remember," "Casablanca," "Love Story" or many more.

Callaway Gardens is hosting a Big Band Valentine's Day Dance on Valentine's Day and there are packages for guests choosing to stay overnight. Call 1-800-Callaway or visit www.callawaygardens.com for more information. If you'd like to wait until Saturday, the Warehouze in College Park is hosting a Jazz and Blues Lovers Night with vocalist Sheila Moore. The show runs from 8-11 p.m. and features music, dinner and dancing for $20. Phone 770-969-9193 for more information.

If you're looking for something else to do for a night on the town, why not take in some theater. Newnan Community Theatre Company's production of "Arsenic and Old Lace" continues Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Admission is $8-$10. Phone 770-683-NCTC. If you want to head into Atlanta and check out a show, "The Lion King" at the Atlanta Civic Center and "The Limousine Ride" at the Ansley Park Playhouse are both highly recommended. Phone 404-658-7159 for "The Lion King" and 404-875-1193 for "The Limousine Ride."

Of course, these are merely suggestions. It is important for you to make your Valentine's Day celebrations your own.
