CDM presents workshop Feb. 22

Christ Discipleship Ministries will present the third in its series of six workshops Saturday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The workshop will address the topic, "Love or Codependency: Do You Know the Difference?," and will be taught by Carolyn A. Driver, founder and president of CDM and a frequent speaker on the topics of inner healing and codependency. Driver says those who find themselves rescuing and fixing the needs of others, or emotionally drained and frustrated by the expectations of others, will find the workshop beneficial and helpful. Holy Trinity hosts daily ecumenical prayers for country

Holy Trinity Catholic Church holds a daily ecumenical 15- minute prayer service for the U.S. leadership and military during this time of tragedy and uncertainty. Anyone in the community is welcome to attend. Those who cannot attend are encouraged to pray wherever they are at this time of the day. The prayer service will be at 12:30 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays.

SPRY planning trip to Madison

The Senior Presbyterians Remaining Young (SPRY) group at First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City is seeking at least 20 people who would be interested in visiting some of the historic homes in Madison on Friday, May 2. The trip will last all day and is sponsored by the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center and the Bank of Madison. The tour is a walking/driving tour and includes the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center, a visit to six 19th century homes, and a southern fried chicken box lunch. Robertson joins staff of FFUMC

Connie Robertson has joined the staff of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church as its new administrative assistant, replacing Gail Smith. Robertson, a native of Connecticut, lives in Sharpsburg with her husband, Mark.

Rolling Hills Baptist plans fund-raiser Feb. 22

Rolling Hills Baptist Church will have a church-wide yard sale, bake sale and car wash fund-raiser Saturday, Feb. 22, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the children's orphanage in the Ukraine. Rolling Hills is at 1481 Redwine Rd., Fayetteville.

Harvest Rain Church to celebrate 5th anniversary

Harvest Rain Church International will celebrate its 5th anniversary Saturday, March 1, with an anniversary dinner at the Westin Airport Hotel at 6 p.m. Guest speaker will be Bishop Harold Calvin Ray from Redemptive Life Fellowship in West Palm Beach, Fla. Golden Harps will meet Feb. 13

Women's Bible study class held Wednesdays

The women at McDonough Road Baptist Church meet for Bible study Tuesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. and Wednesday evenings at 6:05 p.m. for a class on "Beloved Disciple: The Life and Ministry of John" by Beth Moore.
