Thanks to all for
successful Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast
On behalf of the Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the hard-working volunteers and local businesses for making our 11th Annual Pancake Saturday on Jan. 25 an outstanding success. New attendance records were set and profits exceeded $13,000, also a new record. Every dollar earned by Kiwanis is returned to the community through charitable giving and support of worthy causes. We especially want to thank our corporate sponsors, the businesses that donated all or part of the food and drink, the great folks at McIntosh High School, members of the Starr's Mill and McIntosh High School Key Clubs for their fantastic assistance, members of the Southland Chorus for great entertainment, Boy Scout Troop 181 for ticket sales, J93.3 FM for broadcasting the event live, and the local newspapers for calling the public's attention to the event. Most of all we want to thank the citizens of Peachtree City and Fayette County for coming out on a cold morning with their friends and family to enjoy the entertainment and eat just a few of the 10,000 pancakes served. Your support of our community service organization is greatly appreciated. Hope to see you again next year! To view a few pictures of the event, visit our website at www.peachtreecity kiwanis.org.
