Atlanta Expo Center hosts annual show for outdoorsmen By MICHAEL

The Atlanta Expo Center will be filled with hunting and outdoor enthusiasts this weekend as the Georgia Wildlife Federation presents the largest sportsmen's show in the Southeast - The 2003 Atlanta Turkey Hunting, Fishing and Outdoor Show. There will be hundreds of exhibits, bargains on products from manufacturers from around the world, door prizes and a brand new turkey calling contest. Along with a wide variety of door prizes to register for, including fishing and hunting trips with overnight lodging included, fishers and hunters will be able to pick up top-of-the-line gear at amazing prices. Kids will be able to learn the basics of fishing at the Kids' Rainbow Trout Pond and there will be bass fishing demonstrations at the Bass Tub. Kids can enter the Bassmaster Casting Kids Contest and contestants of any age can enter the turkey calling contest for a fee of $25. There will also be seminars by turkey hunters and a wide variety of fishermen as well as demonstrations from Stacey West's retrievers and modern day Robin Hood Galen Shinkle. The 2003 Atlanta Turkey Hunting, Fishing and Outdoor Show will run Jan. 31-Feb. 2 at the Atlanta Expo Center, I-285 at Exit 55. Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for seniors and $4 for children ages 6-12. Kids under the age of six are admitted for free and parking is always free. All proceeds from the show benefit the Georgia Wildlife Federation's statewide conservation education programs.
