Some instructions in closet cleaning for PTC's Tennant

[Regarding the letter to the editor from Peachtree City Councilman Dan] Tennant, I consider a few things mentioned quite pathetic. Number one would be your concern about the use of city employees' time.

As my folks taught me, make sure your closet is clean before you speak about others. I recall you took up quite a bit of a city employees' time (as well as taxpayers' money) during a vaguely explained sexual situation involving city employee Nancy Faulkner in which eventually even you admitted you had no business being even remotely involved.

Number two, I believe your view could have been said in at most five sentences, as I believe we should leave the character judging to our quite capable and intelligent citizens who will be the judge for themselves about what and when the city may feel.

Number three, it's OK to stand up on your own to make statements. Your fellow council people may speak for themselves. I think most citizens would have really appreciated some emotional narrative from yourself and other council members to alert the citizens of former Mayor Lenox's illegal maneuvers a long time ago. We could have used you "eagle eyes" for that!

Also, I find it even more pathetic that [Councilman Murray] Weed would allow such a silly letter to carry his name. I truly expected more sense from you both.

Please concentrate on doing your job and improving your character for the citizens and let the citizens make their own opinions about what the city is able to "feel."
