Grace church will offer 'Intimate Issues' workshop

Authors of the award-winning, best selling book, "Intimate Issues," will speak on God's perspective of sex at Grace Evangelical Church, in Fayetteville, Jan. 24 and 25. Linda Dillow and Lorraine Pintus will address the spiritual, emotional, and physical aspects of sex from a biblical perspective. Married and single women from ages 17 to 70 will find answers to their questions. The conference is Friday, Jan. 24 from 7 to 9:30 p.m., and Saturday, Jan. 25, from 9 a.m. to 5p.m. Early registration is $40. After Jan. 19, the cost is $50. Moms for Moms meets Wednesdays

All moms are invited to the First Baptist Church in Peachtree City, 208 Willowbend Drive, on Tuesday mornings, from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m., for "Moms for Moms." This support group meets each week for a light breakfast, friendship, mentoring, encouragement, and a Bible study. CDM will offer fitness workshop

Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) in Tyrone will present a series of six informational workshops beginning with "A Call to Fitness," Saturday, Jan. 25, from 1-5 p.m. The workshop will be led by Donna Lawrence and a small handout fee will be charged. Lawrence has over 15 years of study and formulation of data and has spoken to large and small groups at nutritional seminars. Lawrence says she feels that "disease and weight problems have a stronghold on America and the Bible speaks to us concerning our health." Fayetteville First UMC to sponsor blood drive

The Fayetteville First United Methodist church will sponsor a Red Cross blood drive Sunday, Jan. 19, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the church gym. For information on reservations, call Tommy Webb, 770-460-5157.
