P&Z off to an eager start in 2003

The Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct its business for the first time in 2003 at Tuesday night's work session, scheduled for 7 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall.

Agenda items include:

A special exception request for Hampton Inn on Highway 85 North.

Rezoning and special exception requests for two Flash Foods locations, at 340 Lanier Avenue and 145 Jeff Davis Drive.

Development plans for the site at 485 North Jeff Davis Drive.

A preliminary plat for the Bates Avenue tract.

Elevation plans for 4B Shoppes @ Fayette Pavilion.

Development plans and three variance requests reduced parking, setback encroachment, and a change in maximum allowable impervious surface for

Wendy's restaurant at 520 Glynn Street North.

Election of chairman and vice chairman for 2003.

The regular voting meeting will take place Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 7 p.m.
