Soccer Centre announces winter events The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville announces the return of the very popular 4-A Side Championship Series On Martin Luther King Day (Monday Jan. 20, 2003) and Presidents' Day (Monday Feb. 17, 2003). Teams may enter either or both tournaments. There will be divisions for boys and girls, from Under 8 through Under 19 or High School. There will also be separate Groups for recreation and select teams. The main arena at The Centre will be divided into three fields and, along with the mini arena, will allow four games to be played at the same time. Each team is guaranteed at least six games, eight minutes long. The Martin Luther King Day Tournament traditionally fills very quickly, so enter early to avoid disappointment. The Soccer Centre will kick off the Winter 2003 Indoor Soccer Season for adults on Feb. 3. The season will run through March 31 and will feature seven regular season games plus a playoff for all teams. League play is on weekday evenings only with a registration fee of $60 per player.
