North Fayette United Methodist starts concert series January 12 North Fayette United Methodist Church will present the first in a series of concerts Sunday, Jan. 12, at 2:30 p.m. The performance will feature the piano skills of LuAnn Latzanich, playing favorite hymn arrangements and music of the classics. Latzanich also will accompany vocalists the Rev. Franklin Long, lead pastor at North Fayette, and Nada Clements, North Fayette's director of worship. The duo will sing familiar solos and duets, both old and new, as well as selections from "Phantom of the Opera." Long received his bachelor's degree from Berry College and his master of divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Clements received a degree in vocal music education from Oklahoma City University and a degree in audio/video technology from Rose State College. Latzanich received her master's degree from Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y., and teaches through the Preparatory School of Music at Clayton College and State University.
