Religion Briefs 'Jesus in Blue Jeans' class to debut at Providence Providence United Methodist Church will offer a new Sunday school class, "Jesus in Blue Jeans," each Sunday morning at 11 a.m. in room F13. Flat Creek ladies plan Bible study Jan. 8 A new women's Bible study will be offered at Flat Creek Baptist Church beginning Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 6:30 p.m. The Beth Moore course is entitled "Beloved Disciple" and will be taught each Wednesday. Divorce Care Recovery class planned at PTC UMC Divorce Care Recovery, a 13-week Biblically based video/workbook/discussion program for those who are separated or divorced, will begin Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 7 p.m., in Room 300-R at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church's new location, 225 Robinson Rd. The class is not limited to Peachtree City UMC members and all interested persons in the community are invited. Free childcare will be provided. Nativity Episcopal to host bishop of Atlanta Jan. 5 The Right Reverend J. Neil Alexander, the ninth bishop of Atlanta, will be at the Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville on Sunday, Jan. 5, for a pastoral visitation. In addition to the 8:45 a.m. children and family service and the traditional service at 10:30, Alexander will be present for the adult Sunday school class at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome.
