Kindergarten students from Grace Christian spread Christmas cheer A group of kindergarten students from Grace Christian Academy spread some Christmas cheer last Friday at the Southland Nursing Home in Peachtree City. The students sang Christmas carols and handed out cards and handmade ornaments. "The residents look forward to the kids coming. They've been coming for five years now, and our residents just love it," said Angie Brown, activity director at Southland. Sherry Poff, kindergarten teacher at Grace Christian Academy, says she enjoys bringing her students here every year. "The kids look forward to it, especially the ones with older siblings who have come to the nursing home before. They always ask about this field trip!" Poff said. |
