St. Mary Magdalene announces Masses St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Mission in Sharpsburg has announced plans for Christmas and New Year's Masses. All events will be held at East Coweta High School, 400 McCollum-Sharpsburg Rd. (Ga. Hwy. 154). Two Masses will be celebrated on Christmas Eve and one on Christmas morning. The 5 p.m. Mass on Christmas Eve will be a Children's Mass and will feature the parish's children's choir, coordinated by Mrs. Traci Martin. The 7 p.m. Mass will feature prelude Christmas music by the Parish Choir, directed by Paul Bauer, music director. The Christmas morning (Dec. 25) and New Year's morning (Jan. 1) Masses will both begin at 10 a.m. Father Dan Fleming is pastor of the Catholic Mission located on Lower Fayetteville Road in Sharpsburg. The mission is an offshoot of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City. |
