No. Fayette UMC sets Christmas services

North Fayette United Methodist church will have three services Christmas Eve, beginning with a family and children's service at 6 p.m. in the Activities Center. It will feature carols with drum and guitar accompaniment and will end with candle lighting by the entire congregation.

The 8 p.m. service will feature carols and the reading of the Christmas story. It also will conclude with candlelighting.

The 11 p.m. service will be a triumphant celebration of the birth of Jesus featuring the ringing of handbells, singing by the Chancel Choir, and other musical specials. The service will close with the singing of "Silent Night" and the lighting of candles.

North Fayette is at 847 New Hope Rd. in Fayetteville.
