Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran to offer series of services on Christmas Eve By SALLIE

In celebration of the very heart of Christianity that God came to earth as a human infant the congregation of Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will hold a series of worship services on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24. Services will begin with a 4:30 p.m. service, with a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. Holy Communion will be celebrated. This early service is designed to accommodate families with young children as well as those who prefer not to drive after dark. At 6:30, a traditional candlelight service will be held in the sanctuary, and at 7, praise music and Holy Communion will take place in the Fellowship Hall, with candlelight. Candles will illuminate the traditional 8:30 and 10:30 services. Holy Communion will also be celebrated at 10:30. Child care will be provided at the 4:30, 6:30 and 7 p.m. services. Each service will have something special to offer, with vocal and instrumental music from many age groups In addition, at 10 a.m. Christmas morning, an informal "come as you are" service will take place, with Holy Communion. Pastors of the church are the Rev. John Weber and the Rev. Miriam Beecher. Music is under the direction of David Beecher. Pastoral intern is Chad Langdon. The church is located at the corner of Ga.
