Radar on Hwy. 54 West in PTC: Is this a bad joke? Just when I thought I had seen it all from Peachtree City's greatest minds, the Peachtree City Police Department decides we need a radar speed detector to remind us to slow down when entering the city from Coweta County on Ga. Highway 54. It's not enough that we already know we are traveling at 2 mph, the police have to prove it to us with big, shiny numbers! Thank you for your gallant efforts to improve the unbelievable traffic nightmare that Peachtree City's "leaders" have created with their absolute lack of foresight and mismanagement of funds! I truly believe the police department's time and money is better spent manning their speed trap on Huddleston Road where working people such as myself have to ride their brakes to stay under the way-too-low 30 mph speed limit! Keep up the good work, guys! Chris Van Orden Sharpsburg
