Bank of Georgia opens Peachtree City office The Bank of Georgia celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony Nov. 21 to mark the opening of its new 14,500 sq. ft. main office at 100 Westpark Drive in Peachtree City. This is the bank's third location; other locations are in Fayetteville and Newnan. Bank directors, officers, employees, friends and dignitaries gathered to tour the new facility and enjoy refreshments after Chairman Rick Stanziale cut the ribbon. Pat Shepherd, President and CEO, thanked all of those individuals that participated in making the new office a reality. Executive vice presidents, Mickey Godwin and Rick Duncan were in charge of overseeingthe project, Foley Design was the architect, and Group VI was the general contractor. Shepherd welcomed Herb Frady, Fayette County Commissioner and Annie McMenamin, Peachtree City Council. Directors from the bank attending were A.C. Aukerman,Steve Black, Rick Duncan, Dale K. Geeslin, Mickey Goidwin, W. Robert Hancock, Jr., Michael Rossetti, Thomas G. Sellmer, Pat Shepherd, and E.A."Rick" Stanziale. The Bank of Georgia is a locally owned and managed community bank serving Fayette and Coweta counties and the surrounding area. and opened in the spring of 2000. .
