Give the gift of history this Christmas Sloan Superior Tutors in Fayetteville is offering a special holiday discount on their genealogy classes and a fundraising opportunity for local historical preservation organizations. For a limited time only, clients can purchase a gift certificate for six sessions of family history instruction for $100. The historical organization will receive a $10 donation for each certificate sold through them. Classes are available for children 10 years of age or older and adults of all ages. This general introductory class in genealogy is not a class on preparing documentation of lineage for membership in any society. Subjects covered include genealogy charts, family history interviews, organizing and documenting information, planning a research trip, census and military records research and computer research. One field trip to the Southeast Region National Archives is included. Class times and locations will be arranged with students by Sloan Superior Tutors.
