FCHS Chamber Orchestra to perform at Governor's Mansion

Governor and Mrs. Roy Barnes will host the annual lighting of the Holiday Tree at the Governor's Mansion (391 West Paces Ferry Road) Thursday, Dec. 5, at 6:30 p.m. Members of the public are invited to attend the event, which will include entertainment on the front lawn beginning at 5:45 p.m. and tours of the Mansion holiday decorations immediately afterward.

Holiday tours will be offered daily through December 15th. Weekday (Monday through Friday) tours will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Weekend tours (Saturday and Sunday) will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with the exception of Sunday, Dec. 15, when a special candlelight tour will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in lieu of the daytime tour.

Fayette County high School's Chamber Orchestra will perform from 2:30-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14.
