Prudential opens Avenue location

Prudential Georgia Realty's exceptional new Peachtree City location in The Avenue shopping plaza hosted an elegant after hours grand opening celebration to officially open to the public.

More than 250 people, including the Prudential Georgia Realty executive staff and several managing brokers of other Prudential locations, attended the November 14 ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening party.

The catered wine and cheese event was complete with a jazz band playing in the background as people mingled and toured the spacious new 5,500 square foot office.

Local attorney, Eric Slepian of Slepian & Schwartz donated a case of Dom Perignon champagne for the celebration.

Arrow Exterminators sponsored the jazz band and Active Exterminators presented the office with a new digital camera. Numerous other area businesses sent plants or flower arrangements and these were on display through out the office.

The Fayette Chamber of Commerce conducted the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which included several chamber members and local dignitaries.

"It was a spectacular evening," said Kathy Murphy, managing broker of the Prudential Georgia Realty Peachtree City location. "All the agents really came togther and assisted with making this a very special and well-attended event."

Murphy's larger office means she will have room for about 15 additional agents and she is actively recruiting and interviewing new and experienced Realtors to join the ever-expanding Prudential Georgia Realty sales team.

The new office offer agents and their clients the latest technology, including speedy T1 incoming phone and fax lines, computer work centers, and all agent stations will offer Internet access for laptop computers.

In addition to the state-of-the-art, beautifully decorated office, it boasts a fabulous location in The Avenue Peachtree City, located at the busy intersection of Hwy. 54 and Hwy. 74.

The Avenue already boasts such exclusive retailers as Talbot's, The Gap, Ann Taylor, Williams Sonoma, and Banana Republic, among others.
