Religion Breifs Lisbon Baptist will have revival Nov. 17-20 Evangelist Scott Smith will be the guest speaker at Lisbon Baptist Church's revival services Sunday through Wednesday, Nov. 17-20. Sunday services will be at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., with weekday services, Monday through Wednesday, beginning at 7 p.m. Youth of the church are invited to join Smith for pizza in the Fellowship Hall Sunday evening at 6 p.m. as they celebrate "Youth Night." Congregation B'nai Israel plans book fair Nov. 18 Members of Congregation B'nai Israel will have their second annual Book Fair Monday, Nov. 18, from 6-8 p.m. at Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Fayetteville. Children from the Religious School will sing Chanukah songs and Kathy Baker will tell the Chanukah story. Proceeds from books purchased by those attending the event will go directly to benefit Congregation B'nai Israel. Barnes & Noble is on Ga. Hwy. 85 north, across from the Fayette Pavilion.
Greentree Church plans 'God and Country' service Greentree Baptist Church will welcome Lt. Cmdr. Jeffrey Anderson as its guest speaker for the fifth annual "God and Country Day Thanksgiving Celebration" Sunday, Nov. 17 at 10:45 a.m. The event honors all military veterans and other public servants.
