Teams head to state cross country meet tomorrow

The state cross country meet will take place tomorrow at Carrollton High School. The local area has teams competing in the Class A, AAAA and AAAAA meets. The AAAA meet kicks off the day with the Northgate girls racing at 8:30 a.m. Our Lady of Mercy and Landmark's girls will follow at 11:30 a.m. and will be followed by the boys at noon. McIntosh, Starr's Mill and Fayette County's boys will race at 1 p.m. and the McIntosh and Starr's Mill girls will race at 1:30 p.m.

To get to Carrollton High Schhol, take I-20 West to Exit 24, the Carrollton/Villa Rica exit. Turn left at the light on to Highway 61 and travel 11 miles past Ryan's Steakhouse. Merge left on to Carrollton Bypass, go to the third traffic light and turn right on to Ben Scott Boulevard. The high school will be the second school on the left.
