Sandy Creek's varsity boys basketball team to appear at annual Arts and Crafts show

Sandy Creek High School's boys basketball team will have a new look this year and the public is invited to comne out and get their first look this Saturday.

Sandy Creek High School will host their 11th annual Harvest Arts and Craft show from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and the boys squad will compete in an intrasquad game, as well as a slam dunk and free throw competition. There will also be performances from the Sandy Creek Dance team, Burch's Chorus and Little Dribbler Jump Rope Team, jugglers and the Top Gun gymnastics team. There will also be lots of shopping for arts and crafts available.

The boys will be playing this season under new head coach Maurice Triche and assistant Derek Campbell. Coach Triche has been the coach at Morrow High School and his philosophy focuses on the student's education and development as a person first, along with being a competitive ball player. Last year's squad were Region 4-AAAA champions and ranked in the top 10 in the state poll.
