Dr. Wirth to speak at Newnan Presbyterian Commitment Dinner
Dr. George Bryan Wirth will keynote the Commitment Dinner as Newnan Presbyterian Church culminates its stewardship campaign Wednesday, Nov. 6, in the church fellowship hall. Wirth's message, based on Psalm 46, is entitled "In God We Trust." The message will be accompanied by a multi-media presentation outlining the achievements of the church's ministries and highlighting the goals for 2003 and beyond. Winn and Kim Wise, Co-Chairs of the Stewardship campaign, announced the theme for the campaign "Renewed in the Spirit for 175 Years," reflecting the church's 175th anniversary in 2003. Wirth is senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Atlanta and serves on the board of councilors at The Carter Center. He is a trustee of Princeton Theological Seminary and the Woodruff Arts Center. For more information on the event, contact the church, 770-253-4405.
