Community information meeting on South Fulton reservoir

A community information meeting on the proposed South Fulton Reservoir is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. at the Cedar Grove Community House on Cedar Grove Road at Brock Road.

Green South Fulton, a community-based nonprofit organization that promotes smart growth and greenspace preservation, has invited a panel to answer residents' questions about the reservoir and address concerns about its impact.

Providing information on the plans and permitting process for the reservoir are: Charles Corbin, Consulting Engineer for the South Fulton Municipal Water & Sewer Authority, Michelle Fried attorney for Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, Ed Johnson of the Army Corps of Engineers, and Dr. Mary Davis of the National Wildlife Federation. Also invited is a representative of Georgia EPD.
