Polling place changes Fulton County's Department of Registration and Elections has made polling place and annexation changes for the Tuesday, November 5, 2002 General Election. New precinct cards notifying voters of these changes were recently mailed to 3,472 affected voters. Each precinct card shows the voter's polling place. Voters must go to the correct polling place because their name will not be on the voter's list of any other location. Voters must vote in the precinct where they are registered. Fulton County voters wanting to confirm their polling place should call Fulton County Voter Registration at 404-730-7072 before November 5. On election day, the Department of Registration and Elections' phone lines will be extremely busy. On November 5, members of the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections will post signs at former polling places indicating changes. The purpose is to assist voters who may not have received their precinct card or who are unaware of the change. The only South Fulton change concerns voters who used to vote at Benjamin E. Mays High School at 3450 Benjamin E. Mays Drive S.W. Voters will now vote at the Southwest Regional Library at 3665 Cascade Road S.W.
