Fall Festivals

Fayetteville Pentecostal, Oct. 26

Fayetteville United Pentecostal Church will have a Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 26, from 6-9 p.m. Activities will include a moon walk, candy and games. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. The church is at 479 Inman Rd., Fayetteville.

Brooks Baptist, Oct. 26

Brooks Baptist Church, located at 123 W. McIntosh Road (at the intersection of the Ga. 85 Connector) in Brooks, is holding its first Fall Family Fun Fest Saturday, Oct. 26, from 5-7 p.m. Everyone is invited all ages no charge. Activities for children will include a Balloon Typhoon, beanbag toss, hayride, cakewalk, and more. There will be free hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill and free prizes. Registration for the new children's choir program open to children ages 4-12 will also be available. For further information, call the church at 770-719-5007.

Sandy Creek Baptist, Oct. 26

Sandy Creek Baptist Church will have a Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 26, from 4-7 p.m. with activities available for all ages. Featured events include a cake walk, face painting, hay ride, dunking booth, sack race, games of all kinds and food. The church is at 1082 Sandy Creek Rd., Fayetteville.

National Heights Baptist, Oct. 27

National Heights Baptist Church will have its Halloween Carnival Sunday, Oct. 27, from 4-6 p.m. The church is on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Old Norton Rd., Fayetteville. For more information, call 770-461-1704 or 770-461-3899.

Fayetteville First United Methodist, Oct. 27

Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have its Fall Festival Sunday, Oct. 27, from 4:30-7 p.m. in the Family Life Center. The youth-sponsored event will feature a moon walk, face painting, space shoot, trick-or-treat alley, rock climbing wall, sand art, costume contest, cake walk and games. The Family Ministry committee will offer a hot dog cookout, hay ride and cotton candy. Admission is free with a canned food item for donation to the local food bank. The church is on Lanier Avenue across from the courthouse.

Hopewell United Methodist, Oct. 30

Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will have a community-wide Fall Festival Wednesday Oct. 30, from 6-8 p.m. A snack supper will be served. Activities are planned for all ages. Heritage Christian, Oct. 30

Heritage Christian Church will have its Fall Festival Wednesday, Oct. 30, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Regular Wednesday activities will be replaced with an evening of family games, fun and food. Heritage is at 2130 Redwine Rd., Fayetteville.

Inman United Methodist, Oct. 30

Inman United Methodist Church will have a Fall Festival Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 6-7 p.m. at the church. Featured events include a costume parade and contest, pumpkin carving contest (or gourd, or watermelon), tricks, treats, cider, games, cookies and fun. For more information, call 770-461-2123.

First Presbyterian, Peachtree City, Oct. 30

Members of the First Presbyterian Church in Peachtree City will have a Fall Festival Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 6-8 p.m., featuring carnival games, prizes, face painting hayrides, pony rides and pumpkin decorating. The church is at 206 Willowbend Rd., Peachtree City.

Harp's Crossing Baptist, Oct. 31

Members of Harp's Crossing Baptist Church will have "Harp's Harvest," Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5-8 p.m. The event feature games, food, fun and fellowship for the entire community. Harp's Crossing is at 1183 Ga. Hwy. 92 South, Fayetteville.

Flat Creek Baptist, Oct. 31

Flat Creek Baptist church will have a "Down on the Farm" Fall Festival Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the church. Featured attractions will be a petting zoo, pony rides and a super slide. A hot dog supper will be available for $2 per person. The church is at 161 Flat Creek Trail, between Ga. Hwy. 54 and Tyrone Rd.

McDonough Road Baptist, Oct. 31

McDonough Rd. Baptist Church will have a Fall Festival Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5-8 p.m. The event will feature games, rides, candy, door prizes, hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy and a cake walk. Everything is free. No scary costumes, please. The church is at 352 McDonough Rd., Fayetteville.

New Hope Baptist, North Campus, Oct. 31

New Hope Baptist Church will have a Fall Festival Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5:30-8 p.m. in Building C on the North Campus. Children from preschool through sixth grade are invited to participate. Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult. Food court opens at 5 p.m. with hot dogs, nachos, pizza, chicken nuggets, ice cream and drinks. Children are encouraged to wear "happy" costumes. There is no cost except for food. The North Campus is at 551 New Hope Rd., Fayetteville.
