Fall Festivals Fayetteville Pentecostal, Oct. 26 Fayetteville United Pentecostal Church will have a Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 26, from 6-9 p.m. Activities will include a moon walk, candy and games. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. The church is at 479 Inman Rd., Fayetteville.
Brooks Baptist, Oct. 26 Brooks Baptist Church, located at 123 W. McIntosh Road (at the intersection of the Ga. 85 Connector) in Brooks, is holding its first Fall Family Fun Fest Saturday, Oct. 26, from 5-7 p.m. Everyone is invited all ages no charge. Activities for children will include a Balloon Typhoon, beanbag toss, hayride, cakewalk, and more. There will be free hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill and free prizes. Fayetteville First United Methodist, Oct. 27 Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have its Fall Festival Sunday, Oct. 27, from 4:30-7 p.m. in the Family Life Center. The youth-sponsored event will feature a moon walk, face painting, space shoot, trick-or-treat alley, rock climbing wall, sand art, costume contest, cake walk and games. The Family Ministry committee will offer a hot dog cookout, hay ride and cotton candy. Admission is free with a canned food item for donation to the local food bank. The church is on Lanier Avenue across from the courthouse.
Hopewell United Methodist, Oct. 30 Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will have a community-wide Fall Festival Wednesday Oct. 30, from 6-8 p.m. A snack supper will be served. New Hope Baptist, North Campus, Oct. 31 New Hope Baptist Church will have a Fall Festival Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5:30-8 p.m. in Building C on the North Campus. Children from preschool through sixth grade are invited to participate. Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult. Food court opens at 5 p.m. with hot dogs, nachos, pizza, chicken nuggets, ice cream and drinks. Children are encouraged to wear "happy" costumes. There is no cost except for food.
