Christian City holds Fall Festival

Christian City will host its 24th annual Fall Festival on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Christian City campus. The Fall Festival, which has been a tradition since 1978, promises to be bigger and better than ever, with the addition of antiques, crafts and artisans, local entertainment and food. Proceeds from the festival benefit the Home for Children at Christian City.

"Our Fall Festival is always a big success thanks to the great artists and craftsmen that participate," said Elizabeth Jones, chairperson for the festival. "We expect a variety of handmade items from local artists, and we have added children's activities so the entire family can participate."

The 2002 Fall Festival will include a variety of handmade items for sale from local artists, and booths will be set up inside and outside during the festival. Children's activities will include entertainment, clowns, face painting and a pumpkin patch. Graceland, Christian City's thrift store, also will be open during the festival.
