South Fulton Golf Classic set
Partnership for Tomorrow and the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce have joined forces to host the first annual South Fulton Golf Classic. The South Fulton Classic will take place at the new Wolf Creek Golf Course October 21. William "Bill" Edwards, Fulton County Commissioner, will serve as this year's honorary chairman for the golf tournament to raise funds for both Partnership for Tomorrow and the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce. 144 golfers will participate in this year's golf tournament at newly opened Wolf Creek Golf Course located just minutes from Hartsfield International Airport. Wolf Creek boasts a 7,028-yard par 72-championship layout with bent grass greens and four sets of tees for players of all skill level. This Mike Young designed course incorporates both low flatland holes, bordering many wetland areas, and holes with dramatic elevation changes. All golf carts are equipped with the ProLink GPS system for golfer assistance with course yardage during their round. This year's golf tournament, produced by Magnolia Golf Group, has various sponsorship opportunities and is open to all golfers. Entry fees are $1,000 per team. There are still sponsorship opportunities available with current sponsors are Bronze Sponsors: North American Properties and the Atlanta Coca-Cola Bottling Company. Dedicated to improving the quality of life in South Fulton County, Partnership For Tomorrow seeks to create opportunities to bring people together. "We are delighted to hold this year's golf tournament in South Fulton County. The Wolf Creek course is in great shape and is a real challenge for golfers of all skill level," commented Partnership Executive Director Candice LaForge.
