Fayette County High School Homecoming

Fayette County High School will start its homecoming celebration Thursday with a parade on Tiger Trail at 6 p.m. with floats made by the classes and various clubs. As the parade ends at 7 p.m., the floats will proceed to Tiger Stadium for the first annual Junior-Senior Tiger Powder Puff game. Admission is $1.

At the game, the 2002 Homecoming Court and the winners of the float contest will be announced. Immediately following the game the students and faculty will hold a large bonfire. Two local favorites, The Star-Bellied Sneetches and Kickball Casualties, will perform as the dance team performs and the cheerleaders hold a pep rally. The awesome Tailgate Staff will sell Papa John's Pizza, Coca-Cola, brownies and the world's best homemade hamburgers.

Homecoming activities continue Friday with the homecoming football game against McIntosh at 7:30 p.m. and a dance Saturday from 7-11 p.m.
