Grandparents welcome at Peeples Peeples Elementary School hosted its first annual "Grandparents and Granola" breakfast Sept. 20. It was attended by students in grades K-5 and their grandparents. Granola, coffee, juice, and milk were available for a small fee and served by Peeples' staff and PTO volunteers. The early morning breakfast allowed students to introduce their grandparents to the school, their teachers, and classrooms. Many students were accompanied by several grandparents while others brought just one. The well attended breakfast was held in conjunction with the school's Scholastic Book Fair.
